Put the 64 bit drums in C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3\MTPDK2-VST-64bit-Win If you stick by the above structure you shouldn't have any problems. If you stick by the above structure you shouldn't have any Fusion - it looks like you're overcomplicating things for yourself.
Like many others, I installed MTPowerDrumkit in a minute or two, with no problems. Those are the general rules as far as I'm aware. because sometimes accompanying files must reside in the folder alongside the plugin's.

So long as you enter the folder path in (Reaper) Options > Preferences > VST Make another if you're using 32bit plugins (64bit and 32bit should be kept separate). Go to directly your C drive top level - not Program Files - straight onto the C drive - and make a New Folder.Ĭall it something you'll remember - maybe VST64. I have two folders - one for 32bit VSTs/VSTis, and another for 64bit ones. Unless it's specifically stated otherwise, most of your plugins can go in maybe two folders of your own creation (or as many folders as you like). No MT-PowerDrumKit if I use Wave plugins as Fusion - it looks like you're overcomplicating things for yourself. No Drums - No VST3 - No Wave VST (didn't list location for (86) Plugins in test) Tried adding the MTPDK2-VST-64bit-Win-FULL folder to the 64 bit section of Win 10 -Ĭ:\Program Files\MTPDK2-VST-64bit-Win-FULL C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3 C:\Program Files\Common Files\Avid\Audio\Plug-Ins C:\Program Files\Steinberg\VstPlugins C:\Program Files\VSTPlugins Rescan - VST3 Plugins now in the Reaper LibraryĬ:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3 C:\Program Files\Common Files\Avid\Audio\Plug-Ins C:\Program Files\Steinberg\VstPlugins C:\Program Files\VSTPlugins Removing C:\Users\Brewer\Desktop\MTPDK2-VST-64bit-Win-FULL Lost all VST3 plugins - VST3 folder now gone in Reaper Library Yes drums are now present as VSTi : MT-PowerDrumKit (MANDA AUDIO} (16 out) Reaper / Options / Preferences / VST - Rescan - C:\Users\Brewer\Desktop\MTPDK2-VST-64bit-Win-FULL C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3 C:\Program Files\Common Files\Avid\Audio\Plug-Ins C:\Program Files\Steinberg\VstPlugins C:\Program Files\VSTPlugins
#MT POWER DRUM KIT DOWNLOAD ZIP#
() Unpacked file in downloads w/7 Zip and moved folder to desktop. Just downloaded lower left file - MTPDK2-VST-64bit-Win-FULL.zip. The MTPDK2-VST-64bit-Win-FULL.zip files (see installation above) won't load into the Reaper library. If Manda Audio says the 64bit works, then they need to fix the file they post for download.
Like to use all my Wave plugins as 64bit VST3. When I use the Manda Audio Win 32bit files and place them in C:\Program Files (x86)\VstPlugins - and add C:\Program Files (x86)\VstPlugins to Options Pref / VST, then I see "VSTi:MT-PowerDrumKit (MANDA AUDIO](16out)." Plus, I see all my free 32bit plugins. No "MT_PowerDrumKit" when using Manda Audio Win 64bit files. Earlier downloaded the bottom one on the left marked 'VST 64 bit Download' = MTPDK2-VST-64bit-Win-FULL.zipįiles to the VST Plugins folder of your host.Ĭ:\Program Files\VSTPlugins (folder for 64bit plugins) Meant there's a Windows 32bit and a Windows 64bit version. It will run well in Reaper, so Cheers and Good Luck getting it up and running! This was also mentioned by us quite some time ago in another thread, but I don't think anyone has posted this info in a while. It's such a good, free drumset that I want users to know that they'll never have to lose use of it if the Manda company or its site ever goes away.

THIS entry can be used on any other MS PC at any later date, should this Manda company ever cease 'business' or close its website. If you can find it, copy it, save the copy somewhere very safe. There is one REGISTRY ENTRY for this plugin VSTi after it is licensed. One of the reasons I felt the great need to post here, before this thread rolls on, is as follows: My only complaint about MT is that I like the kick louder, but this is easily handled. Although most of us eventually move on to commercial drum brands, many of us keep MT-PDK2 around, even installed, in case something goes wrong with our pricey drum setups, etc. It can play files from other sources, too. This drum set is just amazing for what it is. I know it does need a good rescan after licensing, too. Otherwise, do check over the usual suspect issues with any DAW not 'seeing' any plugin after an install. It's been a while, but I do recall that the PDK folder has to be within the exact same folder that the dll is.
